The economic and efficient handling and storage of fruit is a challenge due to the special requirements in this area. The focus is on maintaining a closed cold chain and smooth handling in all process steps. By implementing the new construction of an air-conditioned warehouse with fully automated storage technology from planning to acceptance, improved internal logistics processes were realized at the existing location and integrated into the existing logistics areas. The selection of the optimal logistics solution is a prerequisite for the implementation of the overall logistics concept in order to meet future performance and growth requirements.
