In retail, logistics is a decisive factor in competition. In the fastener market, service and logistics play an even more important role: the customized provision of the ordered goods, whether with the customer’s Kanban container or as a ready-made assembly set on the nacelle of a wind turbine, presents the trader’s logistics with exciting tasks.
In addition to the retailer’s Kanban containers, a large number of customer-specific Kanban containers are used in the goods issue department. The requirement is not only to pick efficiently from the extensive range of articles, but also to provide them in the correct customer container at goods issue.
